Bring 1 bottle of extract based beer (at least 50% of fermentables must be from extract or commercial wort kit) to the March club meeting for our in-house competition.  The winner will represent the club at the AHA CoC in Buffalo, NY (ALES will ship the entry and cover all fees, you just need to provide another 2 bottles), and will also be awarded the ALES EASY Cup!

This is a great way to gauge how your beer will do in a bigger competition; maybe you can tweak the recipe and rebrew, or maybe it needs to be entered in a different sub-category.  Follow the CoC schedule to see what is coming up in the months ahead so you will have entries availalbe - this is a good way to brew outside of your "comfort zone" by brewing styles you may not normally consider.
