AboutWe are the Ale and Lager Enthusiasts of Saskatchewan, or ALES. We are a hombrewing club based out of Regina, Saskatchewan. We have upwards of 50 members, from beginners to experts, all grain brewers to kit brewers and everything in between.
Club meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month from September to June. We meet in the Clubroom (downstairs) at the Bushwakker Brewpub (2206 Dewdney Ave). All newcomers are welcome to attend a meeting for free, after which membership fees are $20 per year. Membership benefits include:
- 10 monthly meetings (presentations on various beer/brewing topics, and sampling of commercial and homebrewed beers)
- discounts from local homebrew supply sponsors
- particpate in events such as Big Brew Day, group brewing sessions, potluck dinners, and year-end BBQ
- the club covers the cost of shipping entries to external competitions
- the club does a bulk grain order every fall, and covers the cost of shipping
- added to our email discussion group which is used for announcements and general discussion
